Some Tasty Things at Dante's, 40 Edwin H. Land Blvd, Cambridge, MA

Dante's features a new grilled cheese sandwich every Tuesday for just $2.00 in the bar/lounge area!  This enticed me to 'cross the river' one evening this summer when I had family visiting from South Florida.  

I've sampled Dante's at a couple charity events, so it was nice to have more than just hors d'oeuvres.

The ambience in the bar area is pretty dim and relaxed.  We ordered the grilled cheese and a few other items to sample.  Service was pleasant.

The featured sandwich of the evening was made with Gruyere and tomato.  It was delicious with crisp bread, creamy Gruyere, and fresh heirloom tomato.

Seabass with capers and garden vegetable giambotta.  Simple & delicious!

I am definitely looking forward to trying more of Dante's menu!
