Tickets cost $15 when purchased ahead of time, and were $18 at the event.
The Bon Me truck is best known for their amazing banh mi sandwiches, spicy deviled tea eggs and spicy ginger lemonade!
Not quite the 'event' I was expecting as the crowd remained pretty thin throughout the night. |
Pork butter crostini topped with a minced ginger? and microgreens. I did enjoy the pork butter...I mean, who wouldn't!?! |
The braised beef toungue banh mi topped with kimchi |
Coconut amaranth pudding topped with pineapple. This was pretty good...and different! |
At the end of the day, I expected much more of the fusion of two powerhouses. I think keeping them separate on their own turfs will suffice.
